1. About the service
WholePerson Bodywork is operated by Tony Han-wei Lee. Services are individualised bodywork and soft-tissue therapy provided at Light Centre Monument, 36 St Mary at Hill, London EC3R 8DU.
Appointments are available by prior arrangement only.
2. Arranging an appointment
Appointments are requested through Square using the website’s Request an Appointment links. The client selects a preferred time and pays the required 50% deposit when submitting the request. This does not yet confirm the appointment.
Tony then checks and secures a private treatment room at Light Centre Monument. The appointment is confirmed only after room availability has been verified. If the preferred time cannot be accommodated, the client may choose an alternative appointment or receive a full deposit refund.
New clients complete the confidential consultation form after confirmation and before treatment. The consultation is separate from booking and does not itself create or confirm an appointment. Email, telephone, WhatsApp and the website enquiry form remain available for questions.
3. Suitability and health information
Clients must provide information that is reasonably relevant to safe treatment, including significant medical conditions, medication, allergies, pregnancy, recent injury or surgery, and material changes since a previous appointment.
Treatment may be adapted, postponed or declined where it is not appropriate or where medical assessment or another practitioner would be more suitable.
4. Consent and personal boundaries
Consent is ongoing throughout every appointment. Proposed techniques, positioning, clothing or draping options can be explained. Clients may ask questions, request changes, decline any technique or stop treatment at any time.
Professional boundaries and respectful behaviour apply to both practitioner and client. Sexualised, discriminatory, threatening or abusive behaviour may result in the appointment ending immediately.
5. Scope of treatment
Treatment may include soft-tissue and sports-remedial approaches, movement or exercise guidance, breathing strategies, and—where appropriate, suitable and specifically consented to—acupuncture or cupping.
Not every technique is appropriate for every client. Treatment is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, emergency care or treatment by a suitably regulated healthcare professional.
6. Outcomes
Responses to bodywork vary. No particular result, cure, recovery time or number of appointments can be guaranteed. Recommendations are based on the information available and the client’s presentation at the time.
7. Prices and appointment deposit
A 50% booking deposit is paid through Square when the appointment request is submitted. It is an advance part-payment credited against the total treatment fee once the appointment is confirmed.
| Session | Deposit |
|---|---|
| 30 minutes (£65) | £32.50 |
| 60 minutes (£110) | £55 |
| New Client Assessment & Treatment — 75 minutes (£90) | £45 |
| 90 minutes (£150) | £75 |
| 120 minutes (£190) | £95 |
If the preferred appointment cannot be accommodated because a room is unavailable, the client may choose another appointment or receive a full deposit refund. After a confirmed appointment, deposit refunds, transfers and late-cancellation charges are governed by the Cancellation Policy. The remaining treatment balance is paid after the session.
8. Lateness
Clients should arrive at the agreed time. Late arrival may shorten the available treatment time so that the next appointment is not delayed. The agreed appointment fee will normally remain payable.
9. Records and privacy
Consultation, consent and treatment records are handled in accordance with the Privacy Notice. Clients should avoid sending sensitive medical information through the general website enquiry form.
10. Cancellations
Cancellations, rescheduling, missed appointments and practitioner cancellations are governed by the Cancellation Policy.
11. Concerns and complaints
Questions or concerns should be raised as soon as reasonably possible by emailing wholepersonbodywork@gmail.com. This allows an opportunity to understand and address the issue.
12. Statutory rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under UK consumer law. If a statutory cooling-off or cancellation right applies to an appointment arranged remotely, that right remains unaffected.
13. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version applying to an appointment will be the version made available when that appointment is confirmed, unless a change is required by law.
